Rushan is a Grade 11 student from Michael Power • Saint Joseph High School. He is the Head of Business Development for H4 Community and manages everything from finances to outreach. Rushan first got his start in outreach while on the Social Justice subcommittee on the Catholic Student Leadership Impact Team (CSLIT), where he worked as Head of Outreach. In this position, he contacted politicians and charities alike to raise over $3,000 in Covid-19 relief funds. He was then able to deepen his connections with governments through his participation in the Youth Ambassadors Program, a program run by the US Department of State which aims to create youth leaders across the Western Hemisphere. A long-term goal of Rushan’s is to expand H4 into becoming a cross-Canada organization, with regional bases across Canada. Outside of H4 and being a burnt-out IB student, you can also find Rushan as the Director of Social Justice for CSLIT, swimming laps at the local pool, trying to get his G2, or satiating his boba addiction!
