It all started when two students agreed to help manage a social media account called @HowHipHopHelps. When the account started reaching a new audience we realized that we could do more than promote a Hip Hop program in schools. We wanted to reach more people and started recruiting our friends to help build our followers. 2 students quickly turned into 12 and more and more students kept finding our content willing to contribute.

When we started reaching thousands of students online every week, we realized this was bigger than social media and @H4Community was born. In 2019 we attended leadership camps, presented at student leadership board meetings, and started recruiting more of our followers to help build out our content.

Now we meet regularly to learn from our mentor and discuss strategies for how we can impact more students with our work. Our goals is to inspire other students to do what they love and work with us to achieve their goals.

Building habits of success.
To make success a habit.

We believe in project based learning. We learn by setting clear goals and working hard to achieve them. Our aim is to connect with as many students as possible to inspire them to also do what they love. We truly believe the best way to prepare for the future is to learn the necessary 21st century skills by deliberate practice, rather than just studying about it.

Connect with us to find out how we're learning and practicing future skills today.
